We invest the time to understand the desired behaviors and investigate the underlying causes. Besides a natural inclination to resist change and face uncertainty, issues may include a lack of preparedness, conflicting incentives, or outdated processes -- just to name a few! The intent is to remove roadblocks to enable participants to perform the desired behaviors. To get someone to change, that person has to want to change. Accordingly, we perform pre-assessments. This may involve video recorded sessions, peer evaluations, or personal reflection. We then design and deliver training that is motivational, interactive and practical. We also provide links to additional resources. The intent is to prepare participants to perform the desired behaviors.
Training can have a short half-life: people leave with an action plan and good intentions -- but easily slip back into the old ways of doing things. Our methodology includes an accountability system, such as performance measures, periodic checkpoints, and management review processes. The intent is to encourage participants to perform the desired behaviors.
